compliments of ConsignmentShops.com Did you ever notice that person who seems to always look great every time you see him or her? No matter where you are, the supermarket, the corner store, even the laundromat, that person is always very well dressed.
Her jeans are always a name band and his shoes are always Italian leather. Unless you know for sure that they are shopping at the better department stores, you just might be surprised to know where they are shopping. Consignment shopping has really taken off. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you just might be missing a really great opportunity to look like the fabulosuly dressed people without spending your whole paycheck. You don’t need me to continuously go on
and on about the great stuff that you can find and the wonderful savings that are available to you. You can see for yourself. If lack of time is your excuse, take a break from your busy schedule and visit your neighboring consignment or resale shop. You just don’t know what you’re missing. Let me introduce you to a few of the regulars at your local consignment shop. Some of them you might even know. First, we have the Jones
family. They visit all the way from New York and happen to be my favorites. Such a traditional family, very well put together. Then we have Evan who drops by with Liz from time to time. They make a great couple, one so sleek and one so playful. Cousin Enzo stops in when he can pull himself away from his Passion for the Safari. He claims the air smells better on the plains than at his 9 West
apartment. Be careful not to get too wrapped up with Joan & David. They will steal your heart easily with their style. If a limousine is blocking the entrance, it is probably Charles from Jourdan or Ma Tahari. They are both extravagant, but not as much fun as Norma. Calvin zips in pretty regularly when he can Escape from his day job. Sometimes Lee helps out and fills in the Gap
for him. Space is Limited in some of these stores, so it’s crowded when they all show up at the same time. Stay clear of Giorgio! He likes to tell all Victoria’s Secrets while she vacations in Bali with Oscar and Emanuel. He’s just envious, I Guess. No sign of Gloria yet since her return to the fashion scene. However, everyone makes a showing eventually.
If I haven’t convinced you to get out of your London Fog or to come from behind your Stone Mountain and get consigning, well then, I give up! But for those of you who have a real Hot Foot for shopping, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the treasures you’ll find at your local consignment shop. Join the ever growing consignment fan club. Some of them will never do retail again. Maybe you’ll be one in which consignment will become an enjoyable Obsession.
